I could definitely be in a Hallmark Christmas movie
Unless you are new here then you know I’m somewhat obsessed with Hallmark Christmas movies. I’m not even sure when it started, but I know it’s my thing.
Today I wanted to share why I love them. The main reason is I like things that make me happy. I spent a lot of my life not being happy, living in a woe is me place, and I didn’t like that person. That person will try to come out now and then, but I push her away. Therefore, I try to surround myself with positive things and people. Hallmark Christmas movies are one.
Several years’ back, I was having a hard time with a job and miserable was an understatement and I remember my mom telling me to watch this crazy reality show she used to watch. She told me that watching something that makes her laugh takes away her bad day. And she was right. I watched that show that night, laughed my little heart out, and went on to sleep. Prior to this I think I watched Hallmark Christmas movies, but I think after my mom shared that with me is when I became obsessed.

I’m also a hopeless romantic, always have been and the girl always gets the guy. Hello happy ending. LOL!
At the end of the day I want to be happy and will do whatever works to make sure that I don’t become that person again. That person does not belong here. I have other things, of course, but Hallmark Christmas movies really make me happy. They turn a bad day into a good day and put me in a good mood. They allow me to block out whatever is stressing me and for two hours, I’m in a happy place.
So Hallmark Christmas movies may not be your thing…I get it, but I recommend finding something that will turn a good day into a bad day if you haven’t. It’s life changing I promise.
