Happy December!! It is the last month of the year and the last month of the decade, but before we let that sink in let’s celebrate our accomplishments from November. That’s right. It’s time for You Go Girl!
In case you are new here let me remind you what this is about. The “You Go Girl” monthly series is for US. I remember thinking that most of us make New Year’s resolutions or promises to ourselves at the beginning of each year and as each month ends, we begin to think we are loosing time if we haven’t accomplished it all so I decided at the end of each month instead of thinking of what we have not accomplished, we should think about all that we have. I share my accomplishments every month and hope you share yours so that we can celebrate each other.
Let me add November seemed like a slow month to me. It was one of those months where I didn’t feel like I accomplished much and that’s why me doing this is so important. I think we all have months where we feel like we haven’t accomplished much, but when you see it in black & white the proof is in the pudding. I have said it before and I will keep saying it do this or something similar every month. I promise it makes a big difference.
My accomplishments from November:
I partnered with Jessica London again, I am so excited they keep wanting to work with me. Every time I get the email I get excited all over again. We are building a great relationship and I couldn’t be happier. Make sure to keep showing love on the post so they will keep wanting to work with me.
If you read these monthly you know I had tried to get to 2000 followers. Well, y’all, I finally did it. Last month I was at 2,190 and now at 2,206. Not much growth, but some. Thank you so much for following and supporting me. Means the world.
I decorated my house for Christmas. I didn’t do it last year because I got so busy so I made a conscious effort to have it done before Thanksgiving and I did. I love coming home to my house with the decorations.
I was chosen to partner with Dunkin Donuts to share about their new plant-based breakfast sandwich.
I did my first try-on session and it didn’t kill me so I have done a few more since. I hope you watched them. If not, go check them out.
I have partnered with Chic Soul an online boutique to share monthly looks.
I had a brand I had worked with a while back and had tried to work with again for quite sometime but crickets. She finally responded and sent me a piece to share. It’s the dress in the pic up top. I share this because you have to keep trying and reaching out if it’s something you want. Sometimes no or silence is not the final answer.
Those are my highlights from November and I can’t complain. I can not believe it is almost 2020. A whole other decade. I’m not sure what the end of 2019 has store for me but I’m open. We have almost three weeks so lets see what happens.
Let’s celebrate you now. What all did you accomplish last month? And don’t forget nothing is to small. I know y’all are out there being great. I can’t wait to celebrate you.
Until next month…well the end of this month,
Crowned CaNesha
